MARTIN MELTZER became a partner of the firm in 1997. Mr. Meltzer has been associated with the firm since 1992.

Mr. Meltzer handles a wide array of landlord/tenant issues. He has handled both commercial holdover proceedings and residential holdover proceedings (including breaches of tenancy, non-primary residence and illegal occupancy), as well as commercial and residential non-payment proceedings. Mr. Meltzer presently heads Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman's Non-Payment Department, for both residential and commercial rent disputes.

Mr. Meltzer is a graduate of Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he was an Editor of the Moot Court. Mr. Meltzer also brings to our firm the experience he obtained as a law intern with the Nassau County Legal Aid Society and as a trial attorney with Gutman Mintz Baker & Sonnenfeldt, P.C.

Mr. Meltzer is a member of both the New York and New Jersey State Bars. He is admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
